Karen Marie Molacek was born May 6, 1963 in Fargo, ND, to Howard Molacek and Vera Critt. She was raised and educated in Callaway and is a 1981 graduate of Park Rapids High School. She lived in a number of communities spending a number of years near Ogema. Karen enjoyed time with her family and friends, going to the casino, fishing, caring for animals playing cards, gardening and watching her "soaps". She had a contagious smile and enjoyed teasing and being teased. Survivors include 3 daughters, Amanda Shelker of Midland, TX, Brandi Waldo of Lake Park, MN, Cassie (Tony) Courtright, Rogers, MN, a grandson, Jameson, brothers and sisters, Irwin Johnson of Los Angeles, CA, Donna (Matthew) Dakota of White Earth, Linda Engel , address unknown, Irva Johnson, address unknown, Bernice Widme of Detroit Lakes, Beverly Dakota of White Earth, Debra (Brad) Weaver of White Earth, Joyce (Gordy) Bellanger of White Earth, Jean (Stacey Weaver) Dakota of White Earth, Donald (Lori) Dakota of Bagley, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Allen and John, and 1 sister, Barbara Dakota.
