Kendall A. Vogt, 53, Detroit Lakes, MN, died Monday, December 1, 2014 at Essentia Health in Fargo.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 5, 2014 at 2PM in David Donehower Funeral Home. Visitation for will be held at David Donehower Funeral Home on Thursday, December 4 from 5PM until 7PM. Visitation will also continue one hour prior to services on Friday. Interment will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, Detroit Lakes.
Kendall Amy Roschen was born July 13, 1961 in St. Paul, MN to Arman and Rose (Anderson) Roschen. She was raised and educated in St. Paul graduating from St. Paul Central High School in 1979. She worked various jobs throughout the St. Paul area before moving to Detroit Lakes. On July 24, 1998, Kendall was united in marriage to Paul Vogt. They made their home in Detroit Lakes where Kendall was employed at Golden Manor Memory Care in Detroit Lakes. She truly loved and cared for the residents at Golden Manor. She also loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed many hobbies in life which included, reading, cooking, thrift shopping, garage sales, spending time at the lake and time with her new granddaughter, she also loved playing bingo and attending WeFest each year. Through her strength, bravery, motivation and courage, Kendall fought the battle and inspired many with the true meaning of life. Kendall will be remembered and missed by her husband, Paul Vogt of Detroit Lakes, children: Brandon (Autumn) Vogt of Detroit Lakes and Megan Vogt of Detroit Lakes, and granddaughter: Elliana Nicole Vogt. She is also survived by her mother: Rose Anderson of St. Paul, MN, father: Armon (Nancy) Roschen of Bruno, MN, two sisters and one brother: Kimberly (Eric) McMonigal of Inver Grove Heights, MN, Kelly (Keith) Kivi and Kurt Roschen both of St. Paul, MN, grandmother: Rozella Lloyd of St. Paul, MN, father-in-law: Gordon Gilbertson of Detroit Lakes, sister & brother-in-laws: Pamela Vogt of Coon Rapids, MN, Stephen (Eva) Vogt of Detroit Lakes, Donna (Mark) Moffet of Bloomington, MN, Jim Gilbertson of Savage, MN and Tammy (Chein) Dinh of Lake Stevens, WA. She is preceded in death by her grandpa: Delton Roschen, grandma: Margaret Rogstad and mother-in-law: Dorothy Gilbertson.
