Kenneth Conroy

Kenneth Steven Conroy was born June 17, 1936 in Moorhead, MN to E. P. and Vera (Christensen) Conroy. As a young boy, he moved with his family to Detroit Lakes where he graduated from Detroit Lakes High School in 1954. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from NDAC (now North Dakota State University) in 1958 and was later awarded a Masters of Science Degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. Kenneth spent the majority of his working life in the Silicon Valley of California, retiring in 1995. He was an avid reader, especially of military history. He was also a member of Theta Chi Fraternity. Survivors include a brother: John (Ann) Conroy of Northport, AL, a niece: Kristy (Cory) Stevenson of Madison, AL, nephews: Steven (Barbara) Brown of Richland, WA, David Brown of Red Wing, MN; grand nephews: Christopher, Michael and Matthew Brown and a niece-in-law, Kendra Brown. He was preceded in death by a sister, Katherine Brown and a nephew, Dan Brown.
