Linda R Ancel

On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, Linda Ancel, loving wife and mother of two passed away at the age of 74.

Linda was born on October 26, 1949 in Minneapolis, MN to Phillip and Elvira Kimpling. She was surrounded by her siblings: Sandra, Barbara, Monica, Lisa, and Phillip Jr.

On August 29, 1970 she married “Skip” Ancel. The couple raised two beautiful sons, Brad and Josh.

Linda had a kind heart and came alive when she was spending time in nature. Her love of animals and birds passed hours and was a great ambition of hers. She loved fishing, taking the grandkids for water sports, and making sure the wildlife has enough to eat.

Linda or as called by the Grandkids “Mema” always had time for the grand and great grand kids. She would light up with joy and spoil them, well like any grandma would do. Mema was the world to them.

There will be a private service for family held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on October 01, 2024 at 1pm.
