Linda Rae (Lhotka) Kirsch, July 28, 1950 - April 27, 2011, died in her home surrounded by her famiy and friends after her long battle with cancer. Services for Linda are scheduled for Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Detroit Lakes. Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Linda grew up in the Waubun area graduating with the class of 1968. On July 30, 1970 Linda married her high school sweetheart, David Larry Kirsch, and together they raised four sons on their family farm in Waubun. Linda was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed sharing Bible truths with others. She deeply loved her family and found great happiness in spending time with her two grandaughters, Kaylin and Ella. Linda loved her grandchildren, the outdoors, gardening and cooking. She is survived by her husband David Kirsch of Detroit Lakes, her four sons; Chris (Celicia), Jason (April), Justin (Alison) and Mat (Laura) Kirsch all of Detroit Lakes, two grandaughters, her mother Jean Lhotka of Mahnomen, and her sister Susan (Lhotka) Johnson of Fosston. She is preceded in death by her father Russel Lhotka.
