Linus C. Matter, age 74, of Hopkins, formerly of Detroit Lakes, passed away peacefully at home on October 27, 2010. Preceded in death by son, Matthew; parents, Ruth & Alfred; brother, Ralph. Survived by loving wife of 47 years, Marilyn; children, Roxanne (Pete) Fenson and Michael (Heidi); grandchildren, Alex and Graem; siblings, Jerome (Mary), LaVonne Jacobson, Aileen Melis, Cleo Steffl and Jim (Betty); many nieces, nephews, dear relatives and friends. Memorials prferred to the American Cancer Society. Interment Tuesday, November. 2, 2010 at 1 PM at ST. Mary's Cemetery, Callaway, MN. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, Nov 1 at 10 AM at St Joseph Catholic Church, 1310 Mainstreet, Hopkins, MN. Visitation Sunday, 3-6 PM at: Washburn-McReavy Strobeck Johnson Chapel
