Lorraine Tallman

Lorraine Lester Tallman, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, March 25 at the Ecumen Emmanuel Nursing Home in Detroit Lakes. A celebration of life will begin at Noon on Monday, March 30 at David Donehower Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes. Lorraine was born on October 17, 1921 to Leonard and Ellen (Chelstrom) Helmer in Proctor, MN. She was united in marriage to Cleo "Rusty" Tallman on May 25, 1945 in Duluth, MN. Lorraine worked for W.T. Grant Co. in St. Paul between 1955 and 1959. After moving to Detroit Lakes she worked for Bergen's Green House. She is survived by a son, Michael (Artis) of Verndale; daughters, Sandra (Gary) Anderson of Cottage Grove, and Kelly (Daniel) Weber of St. Paul; 9 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rusty; parents, Leonard and Ellen, and a brother, Lawrence.
