Lowell Lerud

Lowell E. Lerud, 72, Perham, MN, died Monday, March 14 in Fergus Falls, MN. Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM, Saturday, March 19 at David-Donehower Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes, MN, Reverend Paul Larson, officiating. Interment will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Twin Valley, MN. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Lowell Elwood Lerud was born October 4, 1938 in Ada, MN to Albert and Anna (Meyer) Lerud. He was one of God's special children and was disabled his entire life. During his life, he lived in Faribault, Brainerd, Fergus Falls and Perham, (all MN). He loved listening to music. Lowell is survived by two brothers: David and his wife Betty of Detroit Lakes and Douglas and his wife Marilyn of Mankato, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister: JoAnne Lerud and two brothers: Vernon and Willis.
