Malcom Norcross

Malcolm was born December 24, 1939 in White Earth, MN to Charles and Dorothy (Riley) Ortley. On August 9, 1957 he enlisted into the United States Army. He was honorably discharged on June 26, 1958. He moved to Minneapolis, MN and worked several jobs around the area. In 1982, he moved back home to Ponsford, MN. He took classes at the MSCTC earning his degree in carpentry. Malcolm enjoyed playing softball with his friends along with hunting and going to the casino. He cherished time spent with his grandson, Miah.

Malcolm is survived by his children; Donovan Basswood of Ponsford, MN, Ron Norcross of Michigan, one daughter; Brenda Norcross of St. Paul, MN. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, two brothers: Ralph Stone of White Earth and Eugene Stone of Minneapolis, MN along with one sister: Roseanne Norcross of St. Paul, MN.

He is preceded in death by his parents two sisters; Doris Norcross and Cynthia Stone.
