Marilyn Kropuenske

Marilyn Lou Kropuenske, 62, Rochert, died Sunday, June 26 at Essentia Health in Fargo. Funeral Services for Marilyn will be held Saturday, July 2 at 11AM in David Donehower Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday at David Donehower Funeral Home from 5pm-7pm. Visitation will also continue one hour prior to services on Saturday. Interment will be held in Oak Grove Cemetery. Marilyn was born May 7, 1954 in Brainerd, MN to Louis and Viola (Stalwick) Ohnstad. She attended school in Brainerd. On August 23, 1972, Marilyn was united in marriage to Dennis Kropuenske. They were married for 22 years and had two children, Jeremy and Jason. Over the course of her working career, Marilyn was employed at Thom Linen, West Central Turkeys and Lakeshirts. She enjoyed the outdoors along with watching the Minnesota Vikings. Her highlight each year was attending WeFest. As Marilyn would say, "I don't want anyone to feel sad, just be happy!" Marilyn is survived by her children: Jeremy (Brooke) Kropuenske of Harwood, ND, Jason (Jessica) Kropuenske of Frazee, MN, her four grandchildren: Michela, Wesley, Harley and Byron. Her partner: Perry Hassinger of Rochert, MN, one brother: Gary (Katie) Ohnstad of Brainerd, MN and four sisters: Connie (Mike) Bock of Sebeka, MN, Louise Ohnstad of Brainerd, MN, Lois Robinson of Moorhead, MN and Cathy (Paul) Peterson of Little Falls, MN. She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Tom and Hazel Stalwick, Nicholas and Matilda Ohnstad, along with her parents: Louis and Viola Ohnstad and uncles: Roy Stalwick and Ray Stalwick.
