Marilyn Peterson

Marilyn Rose Eidenschink was born July 8, 1951 in Detroit Lakes, MN to John and Virginia (Speldrich) Eidenschink. She was raised in Rochert, MN and attended school in Detroit Lakes, graduating from Detroit Lakes High School in 1969. She later attended Detroit Lakes Technical College. In 1972, Marilyn was united in marriage to Wendell Peterson at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Detroit Lakes. She was employed with Essentia Health – St. Mary's Hospital for the past 35 years as the Materials Manager. Marilyn loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time at Cotton Lake, and tending to her garden. Her warm smile, zest for life and love for her family will be greatly missed.

Marilyn will be remembered and deeply missed by her family: one daughter: Carmen (Ken) Krugman of Waite Park, MN, three sons: Nathan Peterson of Rossford, OH, Trevor Peterson of Duluth, MN and Tyler (Liz) Peterson of Detroit Lakes, one grandson and two step-grandsons. Marilyn is also survived by six brothers: Ralph (Mary) Eidenschink of Detroit Lakes, Gerard Eidenschink of Rochert, MN, Sidney (Barb) Eidenschink of Horace, ND, Glenn (Vonda) Eidenschink of Detroit Lakes, Stuard (Shelley) Eidenschink of Reiles Acres, ND, and Russell Eidenschink currently in the Air Force, along with three sisters: Charlet (Conray) Griesbach of Hunter, ND, Rhonda (Kurt) Johnson of Duluth, MN and Faye Eidenschink of St.Louis Park, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Wendell (2007).
