Marlene Kay Gordon was born March 10, 1965 in Sidney, Montana to Patrick and Zeila (Raffaell) Sakshaug. She was raised and educated in Sidney, graduating from Sidney High School in 1983. Marlene was united in marriage to Jerry Findley in Sidney. They moved to Wahpeton, ND and later to Detroit Lakes, MN. They later divorced and Marlene remained in the Detroit Lakes area where she worked for a number of businesses. She was an outgoing person with a sense of humor and lots of smiles for people. She had many longtime friends and she enjoyed spending time in the outdoors. She was united in marriage to Scott Gordon in Detroit Lakes. They later divorced.
Marlene especially enjoyed camping with her beloved fiancé, Greg. She also enjoyed animals, especially cats, and was an excellent seamstress and clothing designer.
Survivors include son, Noah Ronning of Audubon, MN, her fiancé, Greg Ronning of Audubon, her mother, Zeila of Sidney, MT and two sisters: Suzy Bowie of Salt Lake City, UT and Sonja Vandiver of Plainview, TX, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
