She was raised and educated in Frazee.
Mary was united in marriage to Victor Dodd June 2, 1936 in Frazee.
They made their home in Frazee until moving to Sugar Bush Township in rural Ogema.
Mary was a cook at the Jab Corps Camp near

Point
Lake
and, for a time owned and operated the Strawberry Lake Store near
Strawberry
Lake
.
Victor died in 1989.
Mary loved children, cooking, the outdoors, doing crafts and, painting.
Mary’s kitchen was always open to whoever was hungry or needed help.
Most importantly, she loved serving he Lord and Savior.
Mary is survived by 5 daughters: Joy Staltzfus and her husband Amos of Winchester, TN, Louise Lawrence and Roxann Dodd both of Ogema, MN; Thelma Collings and her husband Bob of Perham, MN; Robin Dodd and her husband Gus of Ogema, MN; 2 sons: Victor Dodd and his wife Patty of Reading, PA and Ross Dodd of Ogema; several grand, great grand and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Victor, she was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Esther Dodd and Sharon Stiyer, 2 sons: Morris and Milton.
