Michael Pickus

Michael Earl Pickus, age 60, passed away at his home in Detroit Lakes on Saturday, May 2, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 16th, 2015 at David Donehower Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date in Breckenridge, MN. Michael was born December 19, 1954 to Earl and Elanor (Foster) Pickus in Breckenridge. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting, and spending time with family. He was a hard worker and dedicated 25 plus years to the BNSF railroad. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Elanor; a brother, John; and a grandchild, Drew Gardner He is survived by his daughters, Wendy (Jason) Vogt of Horace, ND, Kristi (Terry) Lang of White Bear Lake, and Britney Pickus of Fergus Falls; a sister, LeAnn (Gary) Johnson of Detroit Lakes; 8 grandchildren; and a niece and nephew, JoAnn and Josh.
