Morris Allen Branden passed away January 17, 2024 with his family at his side. He was born June 28, 1955 to Arvin and Marlene Branden in Valley City, ND, in a car on the way to the hospital.

He was a 1973 graduate of Audubon Public School, where he lettered in football and wrestling. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Army. November 6, 1976 he married Marjorie Biegler and had two children: Morris E. and Tanya.

He started driving truck for Haukedahl Trucking and later Red Owl. Then the family moved to Romeoville, Illinois, where he worked for Yellow Trucking till retirement.

Morris enjoyed going for coffee, camping and visiting family and friends.

He leaved behind his wife, Marjorie, son, Morris (Jenny) and daughter, Tanya; brothers: Daniel Branden of Audubon, Richard (Linda) of Detroit Lakes, and DeLane (Diane) of LaVista, NE; sister, Yvonne (Tom) of Frederick, MD; many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arvin and Marlene Branden.

Celebration Of Life for Morris will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 17, 2024 at First Lutheran Church in Audubon, Minnesota with Rev Melissa Pickering officiating. Inurnment will take place at First Lutheran Church Cemetery.
