Patricia Ann Hendrickson was born July 10, 1933 in Ada, MN to Elmer and Ellen (Christiansen) Olson. As a young girl, she moved with her family to Naytahwaush, MN. She attended schools in Naytahwaush and Mahnomen, graduating from Mahnomen High School in 1951. Pat then moved to Chicago, IL where she was united in marriage to Lyle Hendrickson, May 10, 1952.
They moved to Mahnomen, MN in 1961 where she worked as nurses aid at the Mahnomen Hospital. In 1971, they moved to a farm near Bristol, WI where she worked as a nurses aid at Southern Colony, did home care, and operated a goat farm. In 1996 they purchased an old farm house on Sunfish Lake near Vergas, MN which they refurbished into a beautiful home.
Pat enjoyed spending time with her husband and family and cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading, collecting antiques, working crossword puzzles, writing, painting and playing the guitar and the piano.
Survivors include her husband, Lyle of Vergas, children: Karyn (Charles R.) Bright of Laurel, MD, Steven (Nancy) Hendrickson of Trevor, WI, David (Laurie Lynn) Hendrickson of Fairbanks, AK, Lauren Hendrickson of Vergas,MN,Kristie(James) Formolo, of Racine, WI, ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a
sister: Mary Miller of Great Falls, MT, along with her beloved dog, Sophie.
She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Joshua and Cody, her parents, two brothers, Myles and Herb and two sisters, Margie and Edith.
