Patricia L. Nagel, 77, Detroit Lakes, MN, died Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Emmanuel Nursing Home in Detroit Lakes . Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, April 2 at First Lutheran Church in Detroit Lakes, Reverend David Peterson, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call 4:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday, April 1 at the David-Donehower Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes and at the church one hour prior to the services on Thursday. Patricia Lucine Turner was born September 22, 1931 in Detroit Lakes, MN to Thomas W. and Ella (Tonsager) Turner. She attended Lincoln Elementary School in Detroit Lakes and moved with her family to Brookings, SD. Patricia was united in marriage with George “Mack” Renney in Brookings, SD in 1948. They moved to Detroit Lakes where they later divorced. Pat worked as a housekeeper in the Detroit Lakes area, retiring in 2003. She was united in marriage with Elmer Nagel, February 5, 1962 in Sioux Falls, SD. He died in 1980. Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family and was extremely proud of her grand and great-grandchildren.   She also enjoyed watching and feeding the birds, her flower beds, cooking and was well known for her soup and rolls. Survivors include her children, Linda (Wayne) Fagerlie of Detroit Lakes, Bob (Kathy) Renney of Detroit Lakes, Ed (Patty) Renney of Moorhead, Ellen (Paul) Sillerud of Pelican Rapids; 18 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Elmer; son, Steve Renney; brothers, Bill, Edward and Marvin; sisters, Betty, Evelyn and Katie.
