Patrick Flores

Patrick Michael Flores, Age 51, of Dilworth, MN. passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 21, 2011. A celebration of Patrick's life will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at St. Columba Episcopal Church in White Earth with Father George Ross officiating. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the White Earth Community Center and will continue until one hour prior to the service. Arrangements handled by David-Donehower Funeral Home, Detroit Lakes, MN. Patrick was born March 10, 1959 to Juan Sr. and Priscilla (Bird) Flores in Sisseton, SD. He grew up and attended school in Sisseton. Patrick went on to attend vocational school in Detroit Lakes, where he studied auto mechanics. While attending vocational school, Patrick met his significant other, Darlene Jackson. The couple made their home in White Earth, MN. Patrick worked various jobs in the area, and was considered a "jack of all trades". Patrick enjoyed outdoor activities which included; fishing, camping, biking, and hunting. Most of all he enjoyed traveling with his family and listening to "the oldies". Patrick was a devoted grandpa who enjoyed the time spent with his two grandsons. He is survived by his significant other of 29 years, Darlene Jackson, of Frazee, daughter; Elizabeth (Adam) Flores of Frazee, step-son; Charles Jackson of White Earth. Grandchildren; Derien Jackson Flores and Deyton Jackson Flores. Two brothers; Juan Flores Jr. of Utah and Richard Flores of Texas. Three sisters; Cheryl Flores, Lisa Flores and Patricia Flores all of Texas. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Sr. and Priscilla, three brothers; Carlos, Armando and Kenneth Flores.
