Paul Storm

Paul Richard Storm was born July 17, 1938 in Detroit Lakes, MN to William and Alice (Livingood) Storm. He grew up in Detroit Lakes graduating from Detroit Lakes High School in 1956. After school, he enlisted into the United States Army and proudly served his country overseas in Germany. Paul was honorably discharged on March 15, 1959. He was united in marriage to Evelyn “Evie” Tuhy on June 12, 1965 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Detroit Lakes. Paul worked in the maintenance department at MSCTC for over 23 years. Following his retirement, Paul became a full time grandpa. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow. His proudest moments were when his Children and Grandchildren were born. Paul had such a love for nature; his family considered him Mr. Outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, taking his family on annual camping trips to South Dakota, and spending time lying out on his hammock. He also enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings along with hunting and fishing shows. Paul’s zest for life made him many wonderful friends.

Paul is survived by his loving family; wife, Evie of Detroit Lakes, daughter; Lisa (Anthony) Mastin of Detroit Lakes and son; Jeff (Paula) Storm of Ramsey, MN. He is also survived by his four grandchildren: Joshua Mastin, Mckenzie Mastin, Gavin Mastin and Luke Storm along with one sister; Luann Howe of Sacramento, CA and two brothers: Harold (Pat) Storm of Bozeman, MT and Bill (Libby) Storm of Florida.

He is preceded in death by his parents, infant son Mark, one brother; Gary Storm and one sister; LaVonne Storm.
