Pearl Chelmo

Pearl Marie Chelmo was born December 16, 1923 in Minneapolis, MN to Nels P and Mary (Carlson) Justesen. She was raised and educated in Minneapolis and was united in marriage to Sidney Chelmo in 1942 in Robbinsdale, MN. They moved to Detroit Lakes in 1978. Sidney died in 1990. Pearl enjoyed time with her family, reading, baking and watching "The Young and the Restless". Survivors include 4 sons and 4 daughters: Linda (Michael) Moffitt of Frazee, MN, Rachelle Soukup of Detroit Lakes, MN, David (Joan) of Pembrook, NH, Kay (Don) Milinkovich of Ramsey, MN, Richard (Joyce) of Detroit Lakes, Don of Crystal, MN, Stacy (Russ) Kiihn of New Prague, MN, Jason (Sheri) of Prior Lake, MN, 21 Grandchildren, 32 Great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Sidney, Pearl was preceded in death by her parents and 7 brothers and sisters.
