Peter III

Peter S. Jackson III, 52, White Earth, MN, died Sunday, November 27 at Sanford Health in Fargo. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 30 starting at 4pm in the White Earth Community Center. Funeral Services for Peter will be held Thursday, December 1 at 11AM in St. Columba Episcopal Church in White Earth Visitation will also continue one hour prior to services. Interment will be held at St. Columba Episcopal Cemetery. Peter Samuel Jackson III was born December 21, 1963 in Detroit Lakes, MN to Peter Jr and Grace (Bevins) Jackson. He attended St. Benedict Mission and graduated from Circle of Life School in White Earth. After school he enlisted in the Army. When he returned home, he attended Detroit Lakes Vo-Tech for carpentry. Throughout his working career he was employed at Swifts, Shooting Star Casino and Indian Wood out of Ogema. Peter enjoyed babysitting his nieces and nephews, spending time with his family, especially his kids. In his younger years, he enjoyed boxing, wrestling, watching sports and cheering for the Minnesota Vikings. Peter loved being around people and will be missed by his friends and family. Peter is survived by his children: Logan Braaten-Jackson of Flom, MN, Allison Jackson of Flom, MN, grandson: Desmond Thompson. In addition he is survived by his mother: Grace Jackson of White Earth, siblings: Katherine (Jeff) Thompson, Jeff "Joe Bum" Bevins, Craig (Tanya) Jackson, Cheryl (Chad) Jackson, Aaron "Bruiser" Keezer, Deanna (Casey) Keezer along with numerous nieces, nephews and special friend: Laura Braaten and special family friend: Sara DeVall. He is preceded in death by his daughter: Natasha Rae, his father: Peter Jr, grandparents: Peter and Charlotte Jackson and Aaron and Marcianna Bevins, step-father: Dennis Jackson, niece: Tiffany Jackson and the love of his life, Donna Fairbanks. He is also preceded by uncles: Todd, Donavan "Toynch" and Benjamin "Beans".
