Philip E. Warren, 56, Mahnomen, MN died Friday, April 20, 2018 from injuries sustained in a traffic accident.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 27 at 11AM in St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, White Earth, MN.  Visitation will be held Thursday, April 26 at David Donehower Funeral Home from 5pm-7pm with a 7pm Prayer Service and continue one hour prior to services on Friday.  Interment will be held at a later date in Calvary Cemetery in White Earth.

Philip Edward Warren was born April 20, 1962 in Detroit Lakes, MN to Edward and Beverly (Manning) Warren.  He was raised and educated in Minneapolis and the Strawberry Lake area.  He attended elementary school in Callaway, MN, Minneapolis, MN and high school in Park Rapids, MN.   After school he started working at Swift’s in Detroit Lakes.  Philip and Jacky Carribou had three children: Nichole, Cassie and Jack.   Philip continued working various construction jobs before accepting a position with Gordon’s Construction.  Philip worked for Gordon’s Construction for over 20 years.  On January 11, 1991, Philip was united in marriage to Donna Bevins at Bethel Lutheran Church in White Earth.   Philip enjoyed going hunting, fishing, trips to the casino and spending time with his best buddies: Matt Gordon and Jeff Tibbetts.  He had a wonderful smile that could light up a room and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone that needed it.  Philip was known for his sense of humor, incredible bear hugs and his love for his family.

Philip is survived by his children:  Bradley Weaver of Pine Point, Nichole Warren of White Earth, Cassie (Richard) Warren of Detroit Lakes, and Jack Warren along with his wife Donna Warren of White Earth, three step-daughters:  Mickie (Henry) Fox of Roy Lake, MN, Angela Bevins of White Earth and Lacey Littlewolf (Francis Axdahl) of White Earth.  In addition Philip is survived by his mother: Beverly Stoll of Detroit Lakes, siblings: Cindy (Dan) McDougall of Callaway, Sandra Kier of Ogema, Susan (Edwin) Barnett of Ogema and John Warren of Pine Point as well as 17 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Edward Warren and one grandson:  Devin Thompson.
