Ralph F. Lindbom, age 90, resident of Toad Lake Township, Osage, MN. died on April 5, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Park Rapids, MN. Ralph Frederick Lindbom was born on September 24, 1919 in Shell Lake Township of rural Osage, MN. He was one of eight children born to Gust Lindbom and Wilhemina (Alatallo) Lindbom. Ralph was raised and educated in the Shell Lake Township, attending District 82 School. He farmed along with his family in rural Osage. Ralph married Aune Maisio on June 1, 1940 in Detroit Lakes, MN. Together they farmed in the Shell Lake area, where Ralph also worked as a carpenter in the area. He was proud of the many homes he built. Aune died May 4, 1990. In 1995 Ralph was united in marriage to Senia (Mattson) Yliniemi in Snellman.
Ralph served on the Shell Lake Township board for 16 years. He also enjoyed deer hunting, and working with wood.
Surviving Ralph is his wife, Senia, his two children; Ronald (Levoune) Lindbom of Osage, MN. and Renee (Timothy) Weeks of Osage, MN. Three Step-Daughters: Diana (Dan) Eischens of Osage, Bernice (Roger) Musech of Maple Grove, MN. and Beatrice Racette of Eagen, MN. Three Grandchildren; Michelle (Art) Meyer, Ryan (Stacy) Lindbom and Desiree (Joon) Cho., and Five Great-Grandchildren., His brother Harold Lindbom of Osage and one sister Anna Nieminen of Osage.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Aune and five sisters, Alice Racer, Elnora Mattson, Gladys Dormanen, Signe Ennis, and Sophia Lindbom.
