Rebecca Thompson

Rebecca "Becky" Rae Thompson, age 31, of White Earth died on Sunday, October 25 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND., as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 29 at St. Benedict's Catholic Church in White Earth. A visitation will begin at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, October 28 at the White Earth Community Center and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Becky was born in Minneapolis on June 19, 1984 to Bobbi Jo Thompson. In 1989 the family moved to White Earth where she attended school at the Circle of Life Academy. After her graduation in 2002, she went to work for the Shooting Star Casino and the Whispering Winds Restaurant. She was also a server at the Reztaurant. In 2010 she had her daughter Trishell and became a full time mom. Becky loved spending time with her daughter, her nieces and nephews, and with her best friend, Kathy Jo Heisler and family. She enjoyed beading and working on traditional regalia. Becky was a friend to everyone she met and enjoyed making people laugh. Her smile was well known and she will be missed dearly. She is survived by her daughter, Trishell; her mother, Bobbi Jo; her step-father, David Eischens; siblings, Mitchell (Laura) Thompson of Waubun, Laura Thompson of White Earth, Samantha Fasthorse of White Earth, William Fasthorse of White Earth, Cheyenne Fasthorse of White Earth, Justine Fasthorse of White Earth, Maureen Eischens (Aaron) of White Earth, Davy Eischens Jr. (Shawna) of Park Rapids, Tamara (Ben) Eischens of Pine Point, and Eric (Candice) Eischens of Pine Point, a grandfather, Maurice Jackson of Waubun; and many nieces and nephews. She was also survived by her biological father Mike Thompson and her brothers; Luke, Seth and Mike. She is preceded in death by a sister, Gina Thompson; grandmothers, Myrtle Thompson and Florence Eischens; and a grandfather, Eugene Eischens.
