where he worked for Collins Radio Company.
Dick was united in marriage to Sylvia Howes June 15, 1963 in

IA.
They lived in
Cedar Rapids
until moving to
Detroit Lakes
,
MN
in 1965 where he became a partner in the L. J. Norby Company.
In 1986, he became a licensed Stock Agent and became a stock broker and property manager for Lakeland Federal Savings and Loan in
Detroit
Lakes
.
He later became the Development Director for Holy Rosary Parish in
Detroit
Lakes
.
Dick enjoyed coffee at Main Street Restaurant, reading the newspaper, especially the Wall Street Journal and being involved in community organizations.
He served as Chairman of the St. Mary’s Hospital Board, President of United Way, President of the Detroit Lakes Chamber of Commerce, President of the Detroit Lakes Industrial Development Commission and Grand Knight of The Holy Rosary Knights Of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia of Detroit Lakes; a daughter: Elizabeth (George) Francois of Minneapolis, MN; sons: Tom (Kari) of
