Richard Yost

Richard V. Yost, 75, rural Mahnomen, MN, died Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at his residence. Memorial Services for Richard will be held Thursday, July 9 at 1PM in the Twin Valley Community Center, Twin Valley, MN. Richard Victor Yost was born October 10, 1939 in Sublimity, OR to Fredrick and Josephine (Bender) Yost. He was raised and graduated high school in Sublimity. On November 15, 1958, Richard was united in marriage to Judith L. Randall. Richard and Judith lived in many different places before settling in rural Mahnomen. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and traveling. He was known as a "jack of all trades" and will be greatly missed by all of his family, nieces and nephews. Survivors include his five sons: Cecil P Yost of Greenville, TN, Fredrick A. (Linda) Yost of Detroit Lakes, Dennis R (Bonnie) Yost of Thief River Falls, Thomas J Yost of Wichita, KS and Douglas T. Yost of Detroit Lakes. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren along with three brothers and one sister: Joseph Yost of Mill City, OR, Frank "Pete" (Sue) Yost of Sublimity, OR, Benjamin "Benny" (Judy) Yost of Scio, OR and Theresa (Darrel) Ogren of Woodburn, OR. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Judith (2011) along with three brothers and one sister
