Robert Samuelson

Robert Keith Samuelson, 49, died peacefully on February 13th at his home in Hawley, MN.

Robert was born September 25, 1972, in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of David K. Samuelson and Pat D. Watland. He moved with his family to Detroit Lakes in 1985. Robert graduated from Detroit Lakes High School in 1991 and attended Northwest Technical College for Auto-mechanics.

Robert worked 15 years for Team industries as a machine operator and a forklift operator.  Robert enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, woodworking, and misc. shop projects.  He led an active life and had an outgoing personality and was always doing something until his recent health issues became a barrier.

Robert was preceded in death by his grandparents.  He is survived by his parents, David (Lois) Samuelson, Pat (John) Watland of Detroit Lakes, MN; his sister Keri (Eric) Andring of Hawley, MN; his sister Bonnie (Scott) Hargraves of St Clair, MO; nephew Erin Westhoff of Detroit Lakes, MN and nephew Andy Westhoff of Pierre, SD.

Visitation will be on February 26,2022, from 9 AM to 10 AM followed by a prayer service at the David Donehower Funeral Home.
