Robert "Bobby" Arnold

Robert “Bobby” Wayne Arnold, age 61, of Detroit Lakes, MN, passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 20, 2017. A burial of his ashes will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, September 25, 2017, at Strandvik Lutheran Cemetery in rural Lake Park.
Bobby was born on July 6, 1956, to Robert and Elaine (Dahlberg) Arnold in Detroit Lakes. He graduated from Detroit Lakes High School in 1974. He went on to attend photography school at the Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, CA. Early in his life he traveled considerably with his father’s business, Lake Region Travel Service, and learned of many other cultures. He returned to Detroit Lakes in 1993 and settled here until his passing.
Bobby enjoyed watching movies, crossword puzzles, and cooking. He was passionate about photography and delighted in sharing photos and commentary through blogs.
He is survived by his mother, Elaine Arnold of Detroit Lakes; a sister, Tammy (Ali) Aminian of Denver, CO; a niece, Trissa (Dave) Melnychenko; a nephew, Manuchehr Aminian of Denver, Co; an aunt, Marlene Dahlberg of Audubon, MN; and two cousins, Gary Dahlberg, and Kathy Steffens.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert.
