He worked as a sales rep. for Vernon Company for several years before moving to Moorhead, MN where he became Asst. Sales Manager for Silver Line Boats. He and Idelle owned and operated Roger's Cat Castle for 10 years selling snowmobiles and accessories for Arctic Cat. He loved snowmobiling and all the trips he took with Arctic Cat. While in the service, he played basketball for the 59th Ordinance, winning the championship and being named to the All Star Team. His greatest enjoyment was following the hockey careers of his grandchildren, Anthony and Carmen and his nephew, Troy Bagne. He also enjoyed living at Big Sugar Bush Lake where he was surrounded by family, nieces, nephews and extended family. Roger was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was an excellent salesman and appreciated all of the friends he met in his business. He enjoyed being a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Erskine, Christ The King Lutheran Church in Moorhead and First Lutheran Church in Detroit Lakes. He taught Sunday School for several years. He and Idelle were currently living at Lincoln Park Assisted Living in Detroit Lakes. Prior to Lincoln Park, they lived at Pleasantview for four years.
