Ronald Henderson

Ronald D. Henderson, 47, Audubon, MN, died Friday, January 7, 2011 at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Friday, May 13 at David-Donehower Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, White Earth, MN. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Ronald Dean Henderson was born December 29, 1963 in Salem, OR to Marion and Carol (Rindall) Henderson. He moved to Oklahoma as a young boy and to Minnesota at the age of 11. He received most of his education in Audubon, MN. Following his education, he served with the National Guard and then with the U. S. Army. Following his discharge, he returned to the Audubon area. During his working life, he was a construction worker, farmer, mechanic and delivery truck driver. Ron enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, being with children and his dogs Stanley and Hank. He was always willing to help a stranger. Survivors include his Mother: Carol Henderson, step father: Dan Teiken; both of Ogema; a sister: Carol Williams (Bo Campbell )of Lawrence KS; Grandmother: Thelma Henderson of Londale, CA; two nephews: Ryan and Kyle Johnson, a grand nephew: Logan Johnson; a step-sister: MaeAnn Hedland of Frazee, MN; Step-brothers: Nathan (Sheila) Teiken of Osage, MN and Daniel (Emily) Teiken Jr. of Bemidji, MN.; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one uncle.
