Rose Schwartz

Rose G. Schwartz was born May 30, 1923 in Carlos , MN to Oscar and Anna (Yittri) Olson. She worked in a ship yard in Washington state during WW II. She later moved to Detroit Lakes , MN where she worked as a nurses aid at Emmanuel Nursing Home and did house cleaning for area lake people. Rose was united in marriage to Bruce Schwartz in Dilworth , MN in 1969.

Survivors include her husband, Bruce of Detroit Lakes, sons, Eli and his wife Diane of Fargo, ND, Chad and his wife Nancy of Windson, CA, Bill and his wife Dar of Park Rapids, MN, a daughter, Elaine of Hitterdal, MN, 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, a sister, Marilyn of Nelson, MN. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry, her parents, brothers, Joseph and Ben and a sister, Alma.
