Ruth Joan Beaupre

Ruth Joan Beaupre passed away December 6, 2022.

Ruthie was born April 9, 1961, to Leo and Mary (Nelson) Retz and grew up in the country by Shell Lake.

Ruthie was married to Terry Peterson and later divorced. In 1995 Ruthie married Joel Beaupre who she had known for many years and raised their children together.

Ruthie loved animals, especially horses and her beloved dogs. The last few years she moved to her parent's farm in rural Callaway where she raised pigs and chickens and enjoyed the country life with all her animals. She loved to fish and always carried a fishing pole in her vehicle. Many, many hours were spent mushroom hunting as well.

Ruthie and Joel became grandparents in 2001 when their first granddaughter, Elizabeth was born followed by Maggy and Katie. The 3 oldest granddaughters were the light of their lives. Ruthie spent as much time as she could with her grandchildren as more followed through the years.

Ruthie is survived by her husband Joel; children: Terry Retz, Sonia (Michael) Christensen, Sarah Peterson, and Tammy Beaupre; numerous grandchildren; sisters: MaryAnn Miller and Betty Jo Gullard; brothers: Leo (Cindy) Retz and David Retz; sister-in-laws: Cheryl Kjolberg and Jean Beaupre; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son John, sister Linda and numerous other family.
