Sando Morris

Sando S. Morris, 31, Detroit Lakes, MN, died Monday, October 28 at her home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, November 1 at the David-Donehower Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes, Reverend Brenda North, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday. Sando Star Morris was born November 29, 1981 in Williston, ND to Bill and Sandra (Rikerd) Schuh. She was raised and educated in Kelliher, MN and is a 1999 graduate of Kelliher High School. Sando was united in marriage to Tim Barthel in Kelliher in 1998. They made their home in Kelliher and later divorced. She moved to Detroit Lakes, MN in 2008 and worked in the food service area at Emmanuel Nursing Home. Sando was united in marriage to Wayne Morris in Detroit Lakes, April 12, 2012. She was diagnosed with Leukemia in March 2013. She enjoyed time with her children and the opportunity to be a great mom. She also enjoyed helping others. Survivors include her husband, Wayne of Detroit Lakes, her children: Harley Barthel, Timothy Barthel, Brody Jensen and Harmony Jensen all of Detroit Lakes, her parents: Bill Schuh of Kelliher and Sandra Schuh of Detroit Lakes, two brothers and two sisters: Emerson (Anna) Schuh of Kelliher, MN, Billie Jo Forster of Aitkin, MN, Art Schuh of Kelliher, MN and Helen Barber of Rockford, IL.
