Sara Jane Clark, 87, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND with her family by her side.
Sara Croud was born on August 3, 1932 to John and Maggie (Sailor) Croud in Pine Point Township, MN.
She raised 8 children by herself after her husband passed away, working numerous jobs, she then decided to pursue her degree in nursing. She received her LPN in the early 80’s. She served on the Pine Point School Board for over 25 years.
She loved to: play bingo, go to the casino, play cards, plan her own birthday cook-outs, garage sales, shop at thrift stores, watch Vikings football, watch her garden and apple trees grow, and most of all spend time with her children, grandchildren and family. Sara had over 100 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren and remembered each one’s birthday. Every one of her grandchildren had a special place in her heart, every Christmas, somehow, she had a gift for all. She was a very talented lady; she made the most beautiful regalia and mouthwatering fry bread. It would make her heart swell watching the regalia that she made dance in the powwow arena. She had the biggest heart, happiest when surrounded by family. She had the best sense of humor, quick witted and always had the best comeback. She will be greatly missed by many.
Deeply loved, Sara’s passing will be mourned by her Children; JoAnne Annette, Douglas Clark, Edie Smith, Bets (John Pete) Robbins, Barb (George) Clark, Clarence “Junior” Clark, Mary Lou Clark, Diane Goodman, and Sara (Jerry) Hunt, and Bella, her beloved dog.
She is welcomed in Heaven by her husband Fagen Clark, her children Melissa Clark, Johnny Croud, Charles Clark, and Barbara Basswood, her grandchildren Timothy Annette, Mari Jayne Clark, her parents, one brother, four sisters, and numerous family and friends.
