Stephen Caye

Stephen G. Caye was born July 20, 1949 in Detroit Lakes, MN to George and Verona (Stadatherr) Caye. He was raised and educated in Detroit Lakes and is a 1967 graduate of Detroit Lakes High School. He moved to Alexandria where he completed the Law Enforcement Training Program at the Alexandria Vo-Tech. He worked in St. Cloud and Jackson County, MN prior to returning to Alexandria where he worked for the Alexandria Police Dept. and was a 19 year veteran of the Alexandria Fire Department. He retired in 1995 and moved back to Detroit Lakes. Steve enjoyed shooting darts and being with family and friends. Survivors include 2 sons: Scott (Nicole) Caye and Tim (Lynne) Caye all of Alexandria, a granddaughter, Lily, a sister: Mary Jo (Frank) Fahrendorff of Stillwater, MN, 2 brothers: Chuck (Joanne) Caye of Helena, MT and John (Roberta) Caye of Sartell, MN.
