Terry Ballard

Terry L. Ballard, 62, died February 11, 2022, at Detroit Lakes hospital. He was born September 22, 1959 in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Raymond L. and Ginger M. Ballard (Ammerman).

Terry graduated from Pelican Rapids High School. Following high school, Terry had a long career as a truck driver. His last job, he worked for TBS Express in Audubon, MN. Terry was married to Diane Ballard (Kluck) for 20 years. Terry enjoyed mudding, model cars, motorcycling and ATVs. Terry was very competitive, loving, humorous, thoughtful, adventurous, humble and stubborn.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings Dale, Dwight, Billy James, and Jenny Lyn, his daughter Angie, niece Darla K., nephew Donny J., and brothers-in-law Charlie and Dale. Surviving are his daughters Terah Kraft, Christina (Joe) Humphrey, and Stephanie Ballard. Siblings- Ginger Carlstrom, Jackie Peterson, and Brenda (Amy) Strand. Grandkids- Peyton, Ethan, Aliyah, Gabriel, and Pearl, great granddaughter Nirvana, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation will be held at 10 a.m., service at 11 a.m., and reception will follow the service on Friday, February 18, at David-Donehower Funeral Service, 609 US Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501.
