Terry Gunst

Terry D Gunst, 74, of Detroit Lakes. MN passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024 in his home.

Terry was born July 14, 1950 in Jamestown, ND to Adolph and Mary (were) Gunst. Terry graduated from Kulm High School in 1969. He was employed at Burlington Northern Railroad for 30 plus years. He loved hunting, fishing and all types of sports. He was a good carpenter and like to build things including his lake home on Fox Lake.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents (Adolph and Mary), his sister, Shirley Kruger; his grandson, Jordan Gunst; his niece, Kathi (Kruger) Froemming; and his nephew Shawn Gunst. He is survived by his daughter, Cher (Gunst) Heidt; two brothers Jerome Gunst and Roger Gunst; his sister, Donna (Vernie) Buerkle; three grandchildren, Alexandra Heidt, Paige Heidt and Jacob Heidt; and several nephews, nieces, cousins and grandnephews.
