Valerie Dixon

Valerie Cheryl (Mayberry) Dixon, 57 of Detroit Lakes, MN passed away on December 30, 2021 at the Thomas House in Perham, MN. Valerie was born on November 16, 1964 to John and Jeanette (Vogt) Mayberry in Detroit Lakes, MN. Valerie was one of ten children and grew up in the area, after receiving her GED she got her Associates Degree. She spent seventeen years working in White Earth as a family service advocate. Valerie had 4 sons and 10 grandchildren that she loved very much. She loved wood working, her dogs, gardening and visiting the casino. When it came to crafting Valerie was very talented.

Valerie is survived by her 9 siblings Connie Klopka, Detroit Lakes, MN, Joe (Annette) Lundberg, Detroit Lakes,MN, Terry (Robin) Branchaud, Perham,MN, Rusty Lundberg, Round up, MT, Darcy ( Ray Rothlentner) Szathmary, Cushing, MN, LouAnne (Curt) Ice Man, Blackduck, MN, Doyle (Jean) Mayberry, Mahnomen, MN, Elizabeth (Vince) Kent, Ogema, MN, William (Lavonne) Mayberry, Detroit Lakes, MN. Her children Quintin (Chantel) Mills, Zachary (Krissy) Mills, Devon Dixon, and Lucas Dixon. Grandchildren Caleb Mills, Aniyah Mills, Myson Osward, Calli King, Lillyann Mills, Ravyn Skundberg, Rayne Mills, Tyran Mills, Danielle Waldorf, Liam Dixon, and her husband Tim Dixon.

She is preceded in death by her parents John and Jeanette Mayberry.
