Vincent Croud

Vincent Lee Croud, age 57, of Ponsford, MN, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018, in Ponsford.  A funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at the Old Pine Point School in Ponsford.  A visitation will begin at 4:00 pm on Monday, May 14, 2018, at the old school, and will continue until the time of service.

Vince was born April 16th, 1962, to Bernice Croud and Elmer "Sonny" Thompson in Park Rapids, MN. He attended Pine Point School.  Vince lived in Minneapolis until 1994-95 when he moved back home to Pine Point. Vince worked as a mechanic throughout his life and he recently worked as a P.C.A. Vince spent a lot of his life caring for his mother, he also enjoyed           reading, tinkering with anything mechanical and visiting with family and friends. Vince was a very quiet man but very smart and he was always willing to help out family when needed.

Vince will be remembered and missed by his brothers; Charles, Elmer "Skip", and Jim, sisters; Kathleen, Rebecca (Steven), Stacey, and Darla, a special friend, Blossom Annette; his aunts; Sara Clark, and Karen Sue Thompson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Bernice Croud; his father, Elmer "Sonny" Thompson; an uncle, Joe Croud; and aunts, Sylvia Croud, and Catherine Adams.
