Virginia Lagather

Virginia (Ginny) Marie (Egan) Lagather passed away November 26, 2014 in Columbus, OH. She was born December 13, 1942 in Detroit Lakes, MN to the late George and Ann Marie Egan. She attended Detroit Lakes High School, North Dakota State University, Fargo and University of Michigan, Flint. She was a teacher, writer, editor and before retirement a Senior IT Policy Management Analyst for the State of Ohio. She married Thomas Lagather July, 1967.

She is survived by one son, Brendan (Aga) Lagather, one grandchild, Anna Monika Lagather; 2 sisters, Mary Kay Nichols and Marjorie (Lowell) Jacobson; 2 brothers, Kenneth (Mary Beth) and Thomas (Sherry) Egan; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by one brother, Fred Egan and Brother-in-Law, Ronald Nichols.
