Wayne Erickson

Landon Wayne Erickson, known as Wayne, was born October 23, 1943 in Hawley, MN to Emil and Thora (Zachariason) Erickson. He attended District 15 rural elementary school in rural Hawley and Hawley and Audubon High Schools. He served with the U. S. Army and, following his discharge, returned to the Audubon area where he drove a milk truck. He later drove truck for Haukedahl Trucking in Audubon and then worked as a mechanic for several area trucking firms. He loved country music and, in his younger days, played guitar and sang in a number of bands. He will be missed by all who knew him.



Wayne is survived by 3 sons: Wade and his wife Bonnie of Audubon; Lenny and Lanny both of Salt Lake City, UT; 2 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Delores and her husband Arvid Rosing and Gail Laney all of Audubon. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Mansal, Wesley, Donald and 2 sisters, Gladys and an infant sister.
